NFC & Authentication

What can I do with NFC?

NFC can share information stored on the card and open its product verification experience. The result depends on the NFC content and the action supported by your phone.

Read the NFC section of the Online Guide
How do I write or update the NFC content?

Use a compatible NFC writing app, such as NFC Tools, to write or update the content on SiNE CARD II. After writing, read the card again to check the saved content.

For sharing with both iPhone and Android users, we recommend using an HTTPS website link. Internet access is required to load the webpage.

Follow the NFC writing instructions in the Online Guide
Will changing the NFC content affect product authentication?

No. The SiNE CARD II Online Guide states that writing standard NFC content does not affect the product verification function.

See the NFC and verification notes in the Online Guide

NFC on iPhone (iOS)

Can I open a website without an NFC reader app?

Yes. On iPhone XS/XR and later, unlock your iPhone and hold its top edge near the NFC area on SiNE CARD II. When the card contains a supported website link, tap the notification to open it. A separate NFC reader app is not required.

Read the iPhone NFC instructions
Why does my iPhone show nothing after I write text, contact details or Wi-Fi information?

iOS does not automatically open these record types through background NFC reading. This does not necessarily mean the write failed.

Open a compatible reader app, such as NFC Tools, and use its Read function to view the saved data. Reading a record does not guarantee that iOS will perform its intended action, such as joining a Wi-Fi network.

NFC on Android

How do I read the NFC content?

Enable NFC in your phone’s settings, unlock the phone and hold its NFC area near SiNE CARD II. Follow any on-screen prompt to open the content or choose an app.

The result depends on the stored record type, your phone, Android version and installed apps.

Read the Android NFC instructions
Will every record written with NFC Tools open automatically?

No. Website links, text, contact details and Wi-Fi records may be handled differently. Some content requires a compatible app or additional confirmation.

If nothing appears, open NFC Tools and use its Read function to check the saved data. For content intended for both Android and iPhone users, use a website link and test it on both platforms.
